Quilting Bee: Block 3

For this block I was going for a windmill square (or a variation of pinwheel). Here is a tutorial. I love the colors of the fabrics and how it turned out, not bad for a first experience working with squares:

Quilt Top

I started taking a quilting class 2 weeks ago at a local fabric store. For the class I am actually learning to use my machine, so the sewing goes MUCH faster! Here is a finished top! (I still need to attach the borders, but I am super excited for the middle part to be finished!)
